01The corridor

Roughly 28 kilometres from Springfield Lakes

Most of the corridor sits inside a twenty minute drive of the workshop, so distance rarely changes the price of a job. What it can change is how quickly we get to you: a fault-finding visit in Springfield Lakes or Augustine Heights is usually faster to schedule than one out at Deebing Heights or Chuwar, and we will tell you honestly at the time of booking rather than promise a window we cannot keep.

03Just outside?

Twenty eight kilometres covers most of what people mean by "the Ipswich corridor", but it is a round number, not a wall. If your suburb is not on the list above and you are close to it, ring and ask; we would rather tell you straight than have you wait for a booking we then have to cancel.

Book a visit

Most non-urgent bookings are scheduled inside three to five business days. Tell us what is happening and we will confirm a time, or call now if it genuinely cannot wait.

Good to have ready

  • Access to the switchboard, or know where it is if we have not been before
  • A rough idea of when the problem started and what you were doing at the time
  • Anyone else in the house told, if we need to isolate power for part of a visit
  • Photos of the fitting, outlet or damage, if you can get them safely from a distance

The phone forwards to whoever is on call after hours. Anything involving exposed wiring, a burning smell or a tripped main is moved to the front of the queue; everything else gets a call back from 6:30am the next working day.
